I been in Virginia for a year now and I still can 't find decent Italian. The food tasted like the hostess greeting Do you have a reservation? *To a nearly empty restaurant. If you know no better, the food was just good. For the so-called premium, spend it elsewhere. The reviews were deceiving. Five star self reviews w pano and dish images seem staged now. Decent wine selection though but was so turned off. Even a good red would not salvage the experience. What a great find! Authentic Italian food with a comfortable atmosphere and a great staff. Our waiter helped me with some of the pronunciations when we ordered and his accent actually made the evening more fun. I ordered one of the specials, a salmon dish, and my daughter had the rigatoni amatriciana. Both were amazing and didn?t last long. I had a glass of Montepulciano D?Abruzzo that just took me back to Italy! We both couldn?t resist dessert and we left with pasta,

Excellent service! The workers were so kind and excited to immerse us in their culture. My DC chaperone spoke in Italian with them and they were very patient and helped her learn some new words. The pasta was fresh, and it tasted amazing. The sauce that was on the pasta was heavenly. Their atmosphere makes you feel like you?re actually in Italy. If you?re ever in this area, Sfizi is a must!
