SGD is my favorite spot for delicious Korean food. One thing I appreciate about this place is its consistent quality. I usually order the spicy chicken bibimbap or the bento box. Although the bento box is on the pricier side, the portions are quite generous. SGD also serves some of the best banchan—always fresh and if you ask for more, they are very generous with the servings. Hot tea is served at the table as well. I love this place, o often goes there. Today I went there with my brother and his wife. I paid t and tipped. While we were walking out the door waiter came to us asked “if service was bad or what was the problem, we told him there was problem, everything was good as always” then he s”asked why we tipped only 5$ which was made me really embarrassed, koz I paid and I tipped- only problem was I had only one card forgot my wallet at home there wasn’t enough money, it wasn’t planned dinner. I hope that waiter never ever in my position in the future, thank you so much.
We were told if we are done because there are customers waiting. Basically, one of the staff told us to leave*. All I can say is we felt discriminated because we are not Koreans. I guess Korean customers gets the top billing. Others are second class customers and ok to kick you out. You would think. We were not even 1 hour yet. And there were 9 of us. This place needs to train their staff more professionally. This is our first time and not coming back here ever.

The food was fantastic, and the service is truly the best I've experienced in the US! All the servers are dedicated and work diligently to assist customers. I was very impressed! The prices are quite reasonable for such quality. We definitely plan to return soon!
