Shady Nook - Réservation de table

I've been there twice in the last two weeks. Both times I could see the patrons looking at me as if I didn't belong. I'm Latino and have dark skin but I don't don't speak Spanish. I think the people next to me were surprised that when I placed my order I didn't have an accent. I tried to be friendly and engage in conversation but got the cold shoulder. The beer was good and the bartenders where friendly and accommodating. Both times there, I was the only person of color. I'm a retired first responder of 30 years and an Army veteran but I don't think it would have mattered.

The Shady Nook is an excellent spot for karaoke every Thursday night. KJ Chris is welcoming and courteous, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to sing. It's been two years and the fun is still going strong. Plus, there are pool tables and ample parking available. The bartenders are friendly as well. If you're looking for a lively Thursday night in Brea, this is definitely the place to be!

I recently discovered this restaurant, and I'm incredibly impressed. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the overall vibe is great. However, what really stood out was our bartender, Shayla. She was exceptionally attentive and accommodating, making our experience truly wonderful. I'd definitely return just because of her!

Cool little local bar. Pool tables, darts, plenty of tvs and well priced drinks. Beers are $3 which is unheard of and some craft beers and Guinness! They have some top shelf stuff like Wellers reserve for $12 a pour which is an amazing deal. Perfect stop for a quick drink Réservez une table maintenant

Not too many dives in Brea, so I definitely had to check this place out. It was a good spot for a couple of drinks and to play some tunes on the jukebox. Crowd was a little iffy. The bartender was nice. I may come back again if in the area.

This is a fantastic place to enjoy drinks before or after dinner. They offer a wide range of options, from $3 beers to craft selections. I had some Blanton's with my wife, and then we headed to our dinner. I highly recommend this spot!

This is the best little bar in the area, and actually the only one! The staff and the locals are incredibly friendly, making it a welcoming spot. The place is also very clean. I find myself loving it more with each visit!

Stopped by for some drinks after golfing at Birch Hills, First time here since the new owner took over. Great selection of drinks and really love the new set up!

Ashley and Shayla are wonderful bartenders and make this place such a joy. Great drinks, fun times, a must go to!!
