Nice clean, minimal décor, but pleasant vibe; frequented by locals and students, quite cheap. On major bus artery from Waterloo, you pass it and then get off at/just before St Georges Circus on the 68, 171, 176 et al. Beyond the old Vic and heading towards Elephant and Castle On the back of the menu are lunch deals . I have had two. Both £4.75. Chicken Curry, and I said spicy when asked, rice, and drink bottle of water . Chickpea Curry Channa , rice and the water again. Both came in about 5 minutes. Both featured a pleasant mound of properly cooked soft and fluffy, not hard grained basmati rice and were tasty. There are plastic bottles of a minty yogurt available which was quite good accompa...

This restaurant had very disappointing food. The jalfrezi tasted like it was microwaved from frozen, and it could have been improved with more salt. It's frustrating that some people can't properly balance basic flavors in Indian food, which should have a mix of salt, sour, and chili. The kebab was also dry and lacked the usual sensory experience that Indian food provides. While the portion size was satisfying, the lack of taste was a major letdown.

Possibly the worst Indian delivery I've ever had. I don't mind when people complain about waiting time etc if the food ends up being good. But the food was really poor. The main dish was small and nans were as small as chapatis. In fact the nans looked like they might have been pre bought from Asda. The chips smelled of over used oil. The main dish had no salt either. I normally spend about £20 on an Indian meal. This time I was left still hungry.

They don't sell or allow you bring your own alcohol. This is not a problem, we drank water. The food was excellent very tasty. We were the only two in the restaurant so not a great deal of atmosphere but that was not a problem as we just wanted to talk and catch up. All in all I would recommended this Shaheen Tandoori Restaurant if you want a good cost effective and tasty curry. Réservez une table maintenant

During our stay at The Hampton By Hilton Waterloo in January 2023, my wife and I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant. Run by a friendly and helpful family, the establishment may be basic but it exudes charm. We enjoyed a fantastic meal at a very reasonable price. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

We stopped in for takeaway on New Year's Eve. Restaurant staff were courteous and our order was ready quickly. The Naan bread was really delicious, chicken vindaloo very spicy, chicken tikka masala medium spicy, and all portions were generous. We ordered a couple of sides also and our order was less than 22 pounds great deal!

The restaurant serves excellent food, although it can be a bit oily at times. It has a cozy, home-like atmosphere which suggests it is a family-run establishment. The seating capacity is limited, accommodating around 25-28 people at a time.

We chose this because it was two doors away from the Marriott hotel. It checked all the boxes for me. Convenient, delicious, cheap. The staff is friendly. If I go to England again, I shall stay at that Marriott and eat at this restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant
