The food isn't bad, it's a bit pricey though, so expect to spend some . It's a smashed burger with Martin's potato bread buns and crinkle cut fries. There's no table service here either. They'll shout your name out when the food is ready. There is anemployee in the dining area sometimes walking around, but they're not wiping tables or anything, just standing around looking atpeople coming and going from the back, so I don't know what their purpose is in that area. Expect that if you pay with a creditcard, you're expected to tip (because they'll flip a screen for you with different percentages up to 30% . The food at Shake Shack is always a guilty pleasure, but the service is lacking. Whether dining in, taking out, or ordering online, the staff is not quick enough to fulfill orders in a timely manner. While they are friendly, they are also very busy, leading to long wait times of up to 30 minutes for orders. It is not uncommon for part of the order to be wrong or for items to be cold or melted while the rest is being prepared. My hamburger was charred and very dry. I had to use a drink to swallow it. Compared to another Shake Shack (Harlem) that I tried a few days ago, the food in this location was subpar. Update: Since my review I was promptly contacted by the Shake Shackteam seeking detailed information for making improvements. I got a few reminders as well, all sincere and professional. I haveyet to try the hamburger again, but these interactions clearly show Shake Shack is doing their best. I have revised my ratingfrom 3 to 5 stars.
Burgers are fantastic. Price is acceptable for the quality. Staff was not as nice as other Shake shaks. No eye contact and acted as if we were bothering them. For the price $40 after tax and tip for 2 people) the service should be polite and friendly. The food was good! If things change next time, I will then revise rating Réservez une table maintenant
I was taken aback when the waiter turned the credit card terminal around and asked me how much tip I wanted to leave. It felt uncomfortable to have to decide on a tip amount in front of everyone. I couldn't help but wonder if these workers were being fairly compensated. The whole experience felt forced and awkward.
I remembered the last time I went there, the burgers were so delicious. When I last went in, the staff were very friendly there. If you go there, I highly suggest you get the shroom burger because it is very delicious. You can also get a bacon burger with cherry peppers and it is also really good as well.
The staff was fantastic, very energetic and welcoming. The food was good, but unfortunately there were several elderly men hanging around in the outdoor area, smoking cigarettes and talking about cars. It was unpleasant to eat with that smell, especially since I had my child with me.
