The food is great at Shala Thai. We eat there as often as we can and also get take-away sometimes. The entrees are excellent, especially the Steamed Dim Sims and the Coconut Prawns. We always have two or three curry dishes. Whether it is Marsaman, Penang or yellow Curry, we really enjoy all of them. Their Coconut rice is great also. The service is always friendly and prompt, and we like the fact that it is B.Y.O. too, because drink prices can get out of hand sometimes. Give them a go. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Food here was extremely bland . i've eaten at stacks of thai restaurants , Thai food is amazing , but this particular experience definitely wasnt . i had Penang curry , very flavourless . my partner had massaman curry , which was by far the worst Thai iv ever had . the sauce was almost JUST coconut cream , flavour was non existent . very disappointed . probably wont be coming back here sorry .
We went to Shala Thai after a previous restaurant we had planned to go to was closed and we are so pleased that we found Shala Thai. The food was tasty and the service was friendly. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and attentive service with a smile. The food was some of the best Thai food we have had in quite a while and we will be back now that we have discovered this little restaurant.
Came on a Sunday night so there was not much open around it. The food came out quickly enough and the servings were generous. Food was nice, nothing really to write home about but all we wanted. Staff were friendly and attentive, menu is huge and prices reasonable. Would return if I was in the area.

This is now the second time we have visited this Thai option in Browns plains. Last time was average but this time was terrible. Ordered my pad Thai only to get home and find the noodles covered in a tomato based sauce. Tasted nothing like Thai anything. We will never go back again...2 strikes
Nice service in this bustling little restaurant. More attractive than most of the other dining options in this shopping area. The food was fresh and delicious with the pork roll entree a standout. Will go back next visit
We went looking for a restaurant through Browns Plains and stumbled across Thai Haus. Very pleasantly surprised with the menu selection, the food, the service and the price. Will definately put this on a favourites list
The service is really good and the food is tasty and nicely presented. Large variety to choose from and is freshly made to order. Best time to come is lunch time as the lunch deals are really cheap and hard to resist.

Went with 3 other people for weekday lunch. Food was delicious. the food was full of flavour and tasty as. Service was great. We had drinks. starters and mains and only paid $28.
Small intimate restaurant. Great food, well priced and super friendly staff - an overall very pleasant experience. You cant go wrong here..!
