Booked from room for a wedding function sometime in advance. On our bookings they had asked if we wanted balloons and all that sort of stuff so they knew it was a special function. On arrival ten minutes early and what was meant to be their opening time they had allowed other people to sit and start eating in the area we reserved. They checked the reservation book and found us in it with the room marked as reserved. The best they could do was to split the room so the guests were not seated together. My son booked a table for a mothers' day treat knowing I love Indian food, although my husband doesn't. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. There were no traditional British dishes listed on the menu but on request they were very happy to cook a generous portion of plain chicken for my husband, while the rest of us ate a variety of vegetarian and prawn dishes. We popped in on a Monday night (thank you for being open) and had a terrific meal. The food was excellent, the menu varied, and the staff were lovely. I've eaten in many Indian restaurants over the past 60 years or so, and this is one I would like to have in my community. Really good food, and bit different.
