Being honest, I was a little disappointed I confess we haven 't eaten at Shamrock Jack 's since before the pandemic, but the menu appears to have changed quite a bit since then. For instance, I used to think of Shamrock Jack 's as a restaurant and bar, but now it is more of a bar and restaurant. What I mean by this is that the menu is dramatically pared down from what I recall from previous fine dining to the current pub fare. Previously I had enjoyed Chicken French or a delicious tenderloin steak dinner; neither entree is available anymore. And I hoped for some dinner rolls or bread as we waited for our meal; no dice. Was here for business and went with 4 of my employees. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great with my music. We were treated like family. Marc went out, came over and checked us to make sure everything was good. We started with appetizers, The Boom Boom Shrimp and dumplings was a great way to start the culinary experience. All our entrees, the Cottage Pie, Smothered Delmonico and Garlic Shrimp were amazingly delicious and delicious. To dessert we shared an Apple Crisp that was the perfect end. Would recommend this place to anyone in the Rochester region for work or from the area.
Been to Shamrock’s several times for beers (even for their St Patrick’s Day festival) and finally had dinner there this week. It was excellent! The dining room was very cozy and had a very welcoming atmosphere. The service was perfect and rib-eye was one of the best I’ve ever had. This a a casual hometown bar with a great little restaurant. Highly recommended and it’s going to be busy.
We were a party of 6 on a busy Saturday afternoon. Alicia, our server was great, though very busy. Our drinks were delivered on time and with a smile - our food came hot and tasty. The French fries were crispy, salty and hot. My Blt was delicious and the Mac and the cheese of my husband was creamy and tasteful. Just a great lunch on a beautiful winter afternoon.

I love this place! The food is great. My favs include the pot roasted grilled cheese and the shepherd cake. I've never been disappointed. I wish I could make you come to the south with me!!!! Watch the next visit!
This place is my place for fun food and drinks it is a step in front of all the other the family and the staff all feel so welcome, no matter what the season there is always a good time to have
