This is a fantastic local restaurant situated right by the lake. It features a lovely outdoor patio with a beautiful view of the water, making it a perfect spot to enjoy sunsets in the fall. The food is excellent as well. On my first visit, I tried the fish and chips, a dish I often order at seafood restaurants to gauge whether they have their own recipes or use pre-made options for their fried fish and sides. This place did not disappoint; the tartar sauce was fresh and delicious, and the cod was lightly and crisply fried—absolutely wonderful. Julio our waiter was new but was amazing. He ensured we were well taken care of and always checked on us. The food was amazing. My husband had the mahi mahi blackened tacos and cleaned his plate. Sat outside and the view was amazing. I had the the St Charles Louisiana Catfish at have attached a photo. Also I had the peach sangria and it was delicious. Also highly recommend the treasure chest combo.
I had the mushroom and shrimp fondue over toasted garlic bread with the happy hour margarita. It was amazing. Check your receipt because my margs were full price. When I told the server, she adjusted the ticket, but if I hadn't noticed it would have been an overcharge. Great experience overall
