This was the worst example of customer service EVER. Booked a table yet on arrival they had to find us one which was right next to the door where the dirty dishes were taken. Then it took minutes to take our order (and only...after I called over a waiter). Our entree dishes were not removed despite numerous waiters walking past and looking at them. Then after two hours, we finally started receiving our mains in dribs and drabs. Now two tables of Indian people arrived over an hour after us and received their entree and main before us. My girlfriend and I went out for dinner on Saturday night and were extremely impressed with everything. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a lovely elevated view and a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. We started with the tandoori lamb cutlets as an appetizer, followed by the beef vindaloo and chicken kadai for our main course with rice and garlic naan. The food was not only delicious but the service was excellent as well. Our server, Dipthi, took special care to answer our questions about spice levels and recommend her personal favorites from the menu. We went here on Saturday night and it was superb. The service was incredible and the food was amazing. I have to mention that the owners cousin/nephew is an absolute asset to your business. He was incredible. We were a table of 6 women and he made sure we were looked after the entire night. I haven’t had service like that for a long time and we all agreed we would be back very soon. We are regulars to your amazing takeaway but since covid have been hesitant to eat out. The Butter chicken is the best anywhere as is the coconut prawns. The samosas are to die for. The food at Shavans is still delicious, and we have been loyal customers for over 20 years. We have watched the restaurant grow into what it is today. The service was friendly and efficient. However, the reception/management staff should be more careful about where they have disagreements. The menu is extensive with great options for everyone, including vegetarians and vegans. While Shavans is no longer BYO, it is still family and children-friendly. We definitely plan on returning in the future. Réservez une table maintenant

The service has blown our minds, friendly, attentive and courteous and only to willing to help with suggestions and pairing dishes. Then the main attraction the food! Wow, a taste and sensory overload just as the menu describes. The portions are extremely filling and not to be underestimated. All great value for money Can’t wait to be back for more as the dining experience was sublime.

My boyfriend and I decided to dine here after shopping for groceries. Although we initially found the prices to be a bit high, we were blown away by the quality of the food. This is the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted, and it has quickly become my favorite restaurant. I highly recommend it with a rating of 10/10. The staff also provided excellent service.

We had a family catch up dinner there the other night and had a wonderful experience. All the food was lovely, the 'French ' chops were delicious and our waiter Akash was attentive, helpful and fun. The cocktails were delicious. Thanks for a great night

Great take away even better at the restaurant. We’ve been looking for a great Indian restaurant and now we’ve found it. Flavours are excellent, generous portions, friendly service. Aloo Gobi exceptional, Butter Chicken, Lamb Bhoona so tasty and tender. Réservez une table maintenant

Had the most remarkable experience at Shavans in Patterson Lakes! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was exquisite and very well priced. I cannot recommend the tandoori lamb cutlets highly enough!

Dinner was deliciousssss. Service was amazing, super friendly and made suggestions for menu items and drinks that were great. Will be back!
