I've been to a few Shawarmas in Ottawa, and I'm fairy regular to this one.Pros:They serve a decent amount of food. You will get more if you order in the restaurant rather than to-go.Very tasty. I love the combination of flavors that you get. They serve two different kinds of rice, I like the spices they add to the rice, potatoes and everything. Their garlic sauce is the best.The staff is pretty accommodating. You can pick and choose what you want, and get more of something if you like that.They are open LATE, to midnight I think, which is something I've taken advantage of.Cons:The wraps are too expensive, the price on the platters is $12.49 as of writing this, which scrapes by, IMO. Was a huge fan of this place, I actually wrote a grea review on 2015-11-18 about this place but unfortunately the original owner sold this store and now it has gone way downhill.i got a chicken platter besides the portion being much smaller here are the key problems: 1.the garlic potatoes are no longer fried but steamed this makes for a mushy disaster when dipping them and taste is not the same at all2.the tabouli has no lime juice what so ever and is very dry because of this. i especially liked the fact that the old owner put lots of lime juice. parsley was old and he used italian and curly parsley not well trimmed.3.chicken was flavourless compared to time ive gone before and so are the ga...

is an Arab-style food chain logically attended by Arabs. They had menus with different types of meals. the dish was very abundant, in fact to share between two of how great it was. had meat, chicken, salad, Arab bread, chickpeas, rice. The only bad thing that was so condimentated didn't appreciate the drop of each meal so much didn't get us, but I understand it's the style of the Arabic food. the food was very fresh and very well made.Economic and can be paid with credit card.

let me tell you this is one of the freshest shawarma I have ever had. very clean store and the staff is very friendly and don't hesitate to make the customer happy unlike other shawarma places. price is also very fair . tabouli is amazing and so are the hummus and garlic. If you are really hungry and on a budget this is the place for you. everything is fresh and tasty. Portions are extremely generous to the point of overflowing. there is always a line up but they are fairly fast. I stick with the chicken as the beef is usually tough.

I ordered a beef shawarma. It made my stomach upset because the meat was so fatty. Nice people though and good service, portions were ok.
