I am very sorry to leave a negative review, but hopefully the owners will take this constructively. On July 9, I ordered chicken papaya and a mini adobo. I wasn't feeling well, so the order was through DoorDash. Well, I couldn't really eat much except a small amount of soup and a little bit of rice, and it was very salty. Wasn't sure at first because I was a bit ill, so thought it might have been my taste buds. Next day, I'm feeling better and confirmed that not only is the soup extremely salty, there is no papaya in a dish called chicken papaya! $16.50 for a chicken papaya with no papaya! And the saltiness tells me I must have got the bottom of the barrel or something leftovers or whatever...

Chef Owner should be pro active, more attentive to what current former Patron have to say about their Food preparations, this way, they can improve their sub par tastiness. Word to the wise if you want authentic Ilokano dishes go to an Ilokano Restaurants and these list are not in particular order, such as: 1. Kambingan Filipino Food Express they open early from 6am 9pm Waipahu 2. Thelma's Waipahu 3. Elena's Waipahu 4. Julie Z Restaurant Kapolei These 4 are highly recommended with Ilokano Cuisines especially they've been around so long Julie's chef used to work for Elena's Restaurant Waipahu . Filipino Restaurant in general 5. Max's of Manila Waipahu My Family once dined at Shay's it was oka...

I visited the restaurant right when it opened at 10 AM. The music was initially quite loud, but they eventually turned it down. The server was friendly enough, though not particularly warm. The food was quite good! I came specifically for the Ube pancake, but I also really enjoyed the fried silet. The longganisa omelet was decent, but I was hoping for a more flavorful longganisa. I was with a friend, but I plan to bring my family next time. We had wanted to eat here during the lockdown, but the wait was incredibly long—we waited about two hours before we got too hungry and decided to go elsewhere. I'm looking forward to having a better experience on my next visit!

My husband was craving Filipino food since he had lived in Guam, and this restaurant came highly recommended. It definitely did not disappoint! The look on his face when he took a bite of the pancit was unforgettable, and the pork lumpia brought back wonderful memories. It's a charming little spot away from the tourist crowds, but it’s absolutely worth a visit. I enjoyed the pancit and pork belly, which were both fantastic! The seating is limited, so I suggest going during off-peak hours to fully enjoy this gem that the locals love! Réservez une table maintenant

I wasn't very impressed. On the plus side, the fact that breakfast is served all day is great! However, the longanisa was lacking in flavor, and my over-easy eggs ended up overcooked, turning into scrambled eggs. The ube pancakes were unique and unlike anything I've had before. I didn't try their Filipino pizza, but I saw quite a few takeout orders going out. Although there was only one server and one cook, the wait wasn't too long. Our food did come out incorrect, but it was still acceptable.

I always enjoy dining on Filipino cuisine, and this has long been our favorite spot. Like many places, prices have increased, but the food remains delicious. When we arrived, it wasn't crowded, and our meals were served fairly quickly. The atmosphere is consistently pleasant. Overall, I'd rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.

Food was good. I had the Chicken Adobo fried rice. Service was nice, might be a little short staff, had to wait awhile. The sad part, they didn't have Banana ketchup, Mafran. What Filipino restaurant never heard of banana ketchup. And no regular sugar, only sugar substitutes. The atmosphere was nice, clean and bright.

We used to really enjoy this place, but today was a big disappointment. My boyfriend ordered adobo fried rice earlier, and while he was eating it tonight, he discovered a piece of wire in the food. After that, he completely lost his appetite. Réservez une table maintenant
