The train ride with my son from Leesburg to Cleveland to DC and around his surrounding community, the Sheetz service stations were our go-to-stops for fuel, food and treats. Staff were uniformly high, helpful patient. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained and the fuel cells were wonderfully spacious and clean. The occasional picnic tables were a pleasure to enjoy a break in the shade and after the darkness if it was not too hot or damp to enjoy the weather. My son will work another year in Virginia and we have more rides to take, here hopes we find them where we go next.
I think we love Sheetz more for the food and the small supermarket than the gas. That we always get gas. The free air is always a plus. Staff and employees are always ready with a smile to make your order for food or gas or other storage items. The store is always clean. The bathrooms are always clean and smell fresh. The beer cooler is my favorite and is well filled with ice cold beer.
