We 've been hearing great things about Sherry 's and had to try it; AWESOME down home cooking! Everything is scratch made and fresh. Very few places serve chicken livers, so I had to try them; best I 've ever had, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. My wife has chicken and dressing and said it 's the best she 's ever had. We split a blueberry cobbler and again, the best we 've ever had. Staff is friendly, restaurant is very clean. An overall very good experience and well be back.
Not good at all! Not sure what was in this Mac and cheese...sweet potatoes was nasty, I don't like coconut in my yams, and the whole meal was disappointing. Was considering catering my daughter wedding, but I'm scared the food will turn out bad like today's food was. Greens dumped out of the can and heated half way up...had to tell truth...food taste(F) Flavor. (F).....Service (D)....
Sherry's is fantastic. I have been living in Trussville for 7 years and this was my first time dining here. A close friend invited me and I am grateful that she did. The food at Sherry's is not only outstanding, but the customer service is exceptional. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, you are treated like family.
My waitress, Terrie, was excellent, the food was excellent and the costs were reasonable. It is a buffet and I tried a variety, Chicken Dressing, roasted okra, black eyebrows, Turnip Greens and role, the sweet tea was very tasty and Terrie even gave me a glass to go. Very good experience! Really adorable locally owned restaurant. My first meal here was on Easter Sunday and the parking lot was filled within minutes of the doors opening. Almost everything is made from scratch and I have yet to come back without Sherry herself being here running around.
This has to be one of the best places to eat that actually reminds you of your grandma's cooking! Love Sherry's Cafe, they even waited on me to pick up my food even though I was only like 1 minute behind it was very nice of them. I will always be grateful!
The first time. Sherry was very accommodating for my little holiday meeting. The food was delicious and the service was great. I'm definitely back.
