This shin shen gumi is by far the best location!! Highly recommend if you are in the Torrance/Gardena area, drop by this location! The yakitori here is always fresh and delicious. Some of my favorite skewers include: the sausages, chicken skin, chicken gizzard, chicken heart, chicken liver, pork belly, marble Kobe style beef,beef tongue, and the shiitake mushrooms. If you're here for dinner, get the grilled plain rice ball. It has the best fragrant taste and such a nice Crisp. Goes well with the skewers. This restaurant embodies everything you expect from a yakitori spot. The aroma of charcoal fills the air, there’s ample bar seating, and the staff is attentive and helpful. The menu is a classic paper format, with items conveniently categorized. My experience was exceptionally smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend the spicy cucumber salad as a refreshing cold dish to accompany your skewers. As with most yakitori restaurants, the costs can accumulate quickly, so it might not be the best choice for those on a tight budget. However, I believe the prices are quite reasonable and competitive with other yakitori establishments.
We ordered the soft shell crab appetizer and a selection of skewers. While there are plenty of options, the beef choices are somewhat limited. I highly recommend trying the pork belly and enoki skewers, as well as the okra skewers! The Sapporo pitcher is priced at $18 and yields about 4.5 mugs of beer. Everything here is delicious, but if you have a hearty appetite, you'll likely need to order quite a bit to feel satisfied.
The food here is consistently excellent—never fails to impress. What sets this place apart from other local yakitori spots in Torrance/Gardena is their unique yuzu paste, a delightful blend of yuzu and wasabi that enhances every dish. The food and service are always good and. I bring my family for delicious Ramen and appetizers. The location is extremely convenient and the staff is always amazing when we dine here. As of this post I've had about 80% of the menu and I'm excited to say they're one of the best in Gardena
They are always packed. Their foods are always good and prices are lower than other restaurants. It is very difficult to find a restaurant keep good taste and affordable price, also services. It is good enough reason to drive 45 minutes from my place. I recommend.
