Had a wonderful dining experience at this little Yakitori Restaurant. The Staff was very nice and the food was really good. The venue is small and very popular so you should expect to wait if you don’t have a reservation. Even if you have a reservation you should expect at least a 10-minute wait to get to your table. The Yakitori and special menu items are really good and they come in small portions so you can really explore the menu by ordering many different things. 30 yrs plus in business, this place is staple to Gardena, and by far one of the best and most consistent Yakitori places in the South Bay, always delivers food cooked to perfection.Service is always good, with vibrant energy, good quality of ingredients and prices are extremely fair. Decoration brings you back to places in Japan. If you cannot go to Japan, come here and you'll feel what you're missing out ;)Btw, be ready to wait... always a crowd waiting.
Shinsengumi Yakitori is the best spot for authentic yakitori. The food is consistently delicious, capturing the true essence of Japanese cuisine. The service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, though it can get crowded. Highly recommend for anyone craving top-notch yakitori!
Food and service quality has definitely gone down. I suppose, the restaurant now cater to the younger generation customers and forego its longtime patrons that enjoy its traditional high quality food and customer service experience.

Excellent yakatori in a friendly neighborhood setting with welcoming staff. We had the chicken balls, liver, skin, cartilage, wagyu beef, peppers, sausage and potato all perfectly grilled. Looking forward to coming back!
This place is small but popular and not a long wait to get a table. Service was good, nice atmosphere. However, for me, what I ordered, and the quantity of food I received, I felt was a bit pricey.
Awesome yakitori place, but the lunch menu is even better. Get one of the combo plates with chicken meatballs. And the cucumbers are the best. And I don't even like cucumbers.
Great little place with good food. The service started out fantastic and petered out towards good later on.
