I particularly loved the rice and chicken, and I was impressed by the abundance of vegetables, fresh salads, cooked lentils, and grilled veggies available for those who prioritize healthy eating. The highlight of my meal was the dessert that the owner suggested. I couldn’t resist having it before my main course! The cake had a delightful and unique flavor of orange blossom, making it incredibly delicate and reminiscent of an Italian orange garden on a summer day. My wife was eager to visit this restaurant because they offered grape leaves, and it was conveniently located nearby. Unfortunately, the temperature inside was sweltering during our visit, so we ended up dining outside, where it was nearly 90 degrees. The owner was exceptionally friendly and outgoing, but sadly, that wasn't enough to make up for the food. Although the presentation was impressive, the taste was quite disappointing. The grape leaves were drenched in a sauce that was overwhelmingly strong, overshadowing any other flavors. Overall, this place just wasn't for us.
As for the service, if you have the chance to chat with Bilal, you're in for a real treat. He brightens your day with great conversation and jokes, making sure everyone feels right at home. The atmosphere is laid-back and full of positive vibes.
And let’s not forget, when was the last time you randomly found a restaurant on Google Maps and ended up having an amazing time, even taking a picture with the owner? Shish Taouk is truly a hidden gem!

If you're looking for authentic Lebanese food, this is your place! The owner is extremely friendly and the value for the quality and volume of food is unmatched! I'll definitely be back! The option to dine-in inside or out on the patio is amazing as well!On a side note, the food is inexpensive but this trip, I went overboard trying a little bit of everything. Expect to spend $20 for a SOLID meal that's fresh and relatively healthy!
Fantastic Food, Great Service!Stopped in for a quick bite before a flight and it was delicious. The food was excellent and made with passion by the owner Bilal, who was lovely, welcoming, and very interesting to chat with. The place is clean and tide, the food was cooked with more passion than most Michelin starred restaurants.Highly recommend if in the area and craving fantastic middle eastern food!
The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the entire menu. We ordered three different plates plus an appetizer and they were all super fresh and delicious. The portion sizes were also very generous. I would highly recommend this establishment.Food: 5/5
The food is delicious. It's fast, the people who work here are really really nice. I just had some dental work also and the meat was so perfectly cooked so that I didn't have trouble chewing it. I am definitely going to be coming back?
