I used to go to this place regularly with my friends and family over the past few years and always enjoyed the food and service. However, on both my recent visits I have to say that although the food is still delicious, the service of...the waiters in the sitting area downstairs was very unprofessional. One waiter clearly muttered under his breath on both occasions that he should not be taking the orders and that it should be his colleague (who was hiding somewhere in the kitchen, shying away from work). Now as a paying customer you do not wish to see this kind of drama unfold right before your eyes and the second time I witnessed this, I knew I would not be returning. I think the unprofessionalism of the staff is the reason why the restaurant these days is almost empty as opposed to being very popular before when they treated customers with courtesy. There are so many restaurants and eateries nearby that sell tasty food for similar price or even less but without any drama.
at shish we have already eaten a few paints (take and eat) and eating was always very good. my friend and I went to dinner last night, it was a little quieter than usual in view of the current situation. we ordered Lamucan,...imam bayaldi, lammburger and chips plus drinks. we had free dives and a beautiful salad. we paid money, including service fee. great value for money! we have drunk the half of the food before we found that we had not made any photos to post online, sorry! lol the restaurant is very clean and I could see that the personal cleaned constantly (especially in the current situation) and had fresh the floor before our arrival. kalim has cared for us during our meals and kindly gave us a nice flat brot (we have asked to very happy staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I look forward to my next visit, hopefully very soon!
I went to shish in Milend ordered lunch menu. pieces wings and andana kofta. I came home was very disappointed when open the box it had chicken shish pieces. I called to say that they got the order wrong instead they were very...rude and told me I was wrong, it was only piece of wings and they were shouting on the phone saying to put the phone down. I even said I will return it, I told him I don’t eat chicken pieces he said ‘well eat that now we can’t do anything now’. He should not speak to me like this very unprofessional. They even said that they only take cash the card machine is not working this happens all the time. I asked for. Receipt he said he doesn’t he has got any printed. Very disappointed and not happy with this restaurant.
Went to this Turkish restaurant with a few of my friends for an informal dinner. The ambience was very moderate, and it is nowhere close to a posh pricey restaurant in an up-market area. However, the food was tasty. We tried the whole grilled chicken...with generous servings of rice, chips, salad and pita bread. One grilled chicken was enough for the four of us. Overall, I would recommend it as a good value for money place to it.
