Shoal Creek Tavern

We have a really big Running/Walking Group and just finished a race. We were looking for a place that could handle a group our size, on a Saturday, with an outside seating area (we were pretty active in that race Shoal Creek has a great enclosed/outdoor seating area. We were able to use that without disturbing their regular Brunch guests. First the accommodations: 5 star The Managers (Valerie Trey) were very kind and helpful. We had been turned away from a few places because they didn't have an outdoor space and couldn't fit a group our size. Valerie Trey never even blinked. Shoal Creek is consistently great, and we're always glad we went. Cocktails, appetizers, the bread and everything we've tried from the dinner menu--always a great meal. And we've never had mediocre service. The staff knows the menu, offers good wine recommendations, and makes sure we have everything we want. Very personal, but not hovering. We went for Valentines Day for the special menu, and it exceeded our already high expectations. And our waiter, Bradley, really made the night fun and relaxed for us. He was a great server and a delightful person, so ask for him! All in all, nothing but gold stars from us!

eating, service and ambiente were all fantastic. the services of professional management and staff are the main reasons we come back again and again. the old worldelegance is a rare thing, and we appreciate its focus to ensure that everything is excellent about the culinary experience. I receive this restaurant very much.

Shoal creek is so good! The service and food were both great. I sat at the bar and Ashley was so helpful. She was quick with our order and made really delicious drinks as well as being super friendly and knowledgeable. The Shoal Creek bread was the perfect warm, cheesy appetizer. Can't wait to come back! The food was excellent and a very wide variety. We were warmly greeted by Valerie who is a delight....we just love her! Garrett was our server and and could not have been more attentive and enjoyable. This has become our new favorite restaurant. Highly recommend.

big waiter who was attentive and helpful with suggestions, the ambiente is great, and eating was even better. our only regret was that we came for apps on a Sunday afternoon vs for a full meal. great family owned fresh from the scratch kitchen. will come back!

This is like my 15th time coming here, since it's local to me and Soo good! Nick was an absolute delight and very attentive, and the food was outstanding as usual, especially at the price point : Go here, you won't regret it!
