It hurts giving this rating because we've been coming for over 10 years but the level of service has drastically decreased. Yesterday I had to stop the manager and ask for a refill (this was after we waited 15 min for drinks). The server NEVERA came back and checked on the table and after listening to my neighbor slurp what was NO DRINK in his cup I went to find the same manager as before, to ask for refills for the entire table. Refills that still NEVER CAME! I cancelled my sushi because the chef had already started cooking and it had been at least 40 min since we had ordered it. They have lost us as a customer and as much as I love the food, the lack of attention to customers and engagemen...
My family LOVE hibachi and this restaurant has been so good in the past!! Tonight the service was horrible!! When our chef came out, sagging his pants with his underwear showing, no gloves, no hair net, and just looking so unprofessional. I had to send my sushi back because it tasted old and the service came back to tell me her manager made her pay for it as if that was my problem. Also the gratuity was hand written into the receipt and when asked about it we were told that it was done because no one ever tips again what does that have to do with us! Horrible experience and we will not be back!!
Stopped going here years and years ago. Not sure about it now but they had mice back in the day; enough that you could see them running across the floor during dinner. Hope that's fixed but not looking to find out. Chances are they still have them. Enjoyed reading the 5 stars (you must have strong stomachs). It's a big risk to take. But maybe they're better now.
