Breakfast on a slow easy Sunday morning under the catalpa trees. Windows large and inviting us to take in the world. Watching a barge gently flow through the water. A cardinal lands close by, sings a few lines then let 's the doves take the chorus. Kitchen staff sing along with Heart 's How Do I Get You Alone. Service is kind and humorous, 'sit anywhere. Well maybe not where some else is sitting, that may be awkward. ' Regulars chatting, softly no one is invasive. Wait staff are attentive, kindly remembering the locals favorites. Our chef at the table was very friendly to our family; the food was great! The Hibachi tables are smaller and closer together than I would prefer, as a full table means a tight squeeze with little elbow room to eat your meal, and guests at neighboring tables were very loud. However, I am sure we will probably visit this location again since the staff and food are excellent ‍
