came to araki sushi for saturday lunch. friendly service, decent prices they have a lunch special that is available on weekends too), and good quality sashimi.service was also very friendly and attentive, asking us if we needed anything and refilling our water. our food came out very fast too.we got the sashimi/nigiri combo $24) and the lunch special rainbow roll and spicy scallop roll). it came with two soups and two salads. the thicker cuts of sashimi were really good and tasted good quality. the rest of the sushi was nothing extraordinary, but i enjoyed it and it was a good portion size. i'd come back for the lunch special and sashimi.

Loved visiting this place! The staff was really nice and the food was great too. They gave us free first round of drinks too.

The food is reasonable. Not the best sushi in the area but good enough to try it when you are in downtown Palo Alto.
