The kids meals are super filling, 9" personal pizzas drink & dessert. Wife had a deep dish and I had the smoked mozzarella ravioli with basil in a bacon chicken white cream sauce, it was awesome. It was to start with a greek salad but funnily they forgot the olives. Originally we were told to sit anywhere but reserved signs were covering 80% of the tables. Host said they're for the owner's kids soccer team. We sat in the last open seating area. Luckily we did cause by the time we received our order the team was piling. We started to eat but it was getting way too crowded. We had people bumping our table almost sticking body parts into our food. At that point we decided to leave. I wished we could have enjoyed the meal but had to leave it was a mad house.
I noticed that a new restaurant had opened in town but, I gave it some time to start up and get things going. I should not have waited. I ordered a pizza for my wife and myself and could not believe the quality of the meal. The freshness of the toppings and the quality of the cheese and crust were marvelous. That is the word: MARVELOUS! The portion was generous beyond belief. The price was amazing for what we received. The service was beyond reproach. There is a new guy in town setting a new standard that everyone else is going to have to catch up to. Shokas is the tops! Please go by and see for yourself. You cannot and will not be disappointed.
I had heard about the deep dish pizza and had to try it! It was delicious and well worth the price! Needless to say, not much of it made it home and I didn't get a distracted driving ticket! I LOVE the fact that we can now get this classic right here in town! I want to try their other dishes, but always end up getting the pizza!
