If you 're using the self checkout and have a problem with the kiosk, DO NOT ask the older Black lady who stands at the end of that section for help. She will (1) ignore you, then (2) look through you like you 're ruining her day, (3) walk two steps in your direction without getting close enough to see what the problem is, (4) say It 's the way the system is set up, you have to scan it and THEN drop it in the bag. When I tried to explain that it was saying I had an unexpected item and needed to take it out, even though I had already scanned it, and when I took it out, it told me to put it back in the bag, so I was stuck in an endless cycle, she walked away looking like she smelled something bad, then proceeded to complain to the other employees about how customers don 't know how to use the kiosks and always blame them. It sounds like it could be the same person Tia F. and her unfortunate husband ran into. If so, this person needs to be fired. ZERO STARS, only chose one because zero wasn 't an option. That was the last straw on Shoprite, I 've had that same experience with that same person more than once. I 'll spend my $1,200 a month in another grocery store.

Some of the higher ups don’t know how to talk to people (JENNIFER Very unprofessional night crew is lazy . The managers dont address anything that happens overnight . a lot of the products are out of date and maggot filled.

Shop Rite was too expensive. Used to be the lowest Supermarket in the area. I think Acme is catching up with low prices and it's an easier store to shop in
