I took the matcha workshop today 2023.05.23. I actually tasted the umani flavor of matcha which I usually don't take my time to enjoy matcha. Tasted like mushrooms. Interesting. I love this place and the artwork. Been coming in like Matcha Man like the Village People Macho Man. They are extremely technical about matcha and I like that. Never have I been in a tea shop like that and usually just order matcha with maybe vanilla flavoring. Other tea shops never mentioned to taste the umani flavor so it was new to me and pretty cool. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I worked in the tea industry for 6 years and both places I worked moved back to canada. Its hard to find quality tea places. This was a happenstance stop on a trip and Im so glad we stopped. Ended up buying a ton of mate teas. They have such a varied selection. They also have russian caravan and lapsang two very different teas which are hard to find in CT where im from. If you like tea, try it.
