This restaurant has a cool 1950's vibe, with a 57 Chevy parked out front. There is plenty of parking right off the interstate exit. Don't bother with the chain restaurant across the street, this place was amazing! I sat at the bar and Paula arrived within seconds with the menu and coffee. She kept my coffee cup full throughout the meal. I ordered the steak and eggs with home fries and toast. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare, but it came well done. It was still delicious, though. My only complaint is that it was a New York strip steak instead of a thin cut breakfast Rib Eye. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. The atmosphere of this diner was exactly what I was looking for. It had a nostalgic feel and the customer service was excellent, thanks to our amazing waiter. Although my wife didn't enjoy her food as much as I did, my black and blue burger was cooked perfectly and even came with an extra egg at no charge. The fries could have used a bit more salt, but overall were good. The vanilla milkshake I had on the way out was one of the best I've had in a long time. Despite my wife's disappointment with her chicken pesto wrap, the outstanding atmosphere and service definitely deserve a five-star rating.

The place was extremely busy and had to wait like 10 minutes. It was ok cause the food is worth the wait. The waiter was great and very nice looking. Keep checking to see how we were doing. In fact the other waitress checked with us also. We had lunch and as I said the the food was excellent. Great cook. You will not be disappointed trust me!!!!!!!!!

Shorty's Place is a great little diner with wonderful vintage flare. Friendly staff were able to easily accommodate our large walk-in party (fortunately it was a weekday). The food was great and reasonably priced and it's conveniently located by I-81 exit. A definite gem! Réservez une table maintenant

The atmosphere at this restaurant is lovely, giving off a true 1950s diner vibe. The service was excellent, as was the food. Despite the bustling crowd, we were promptly seated and served our meals in just 15 minutes.

I am a truck driver from Philadelphia making a delivery to Home Depot. I stopped at this restaurant and found the food to be delicious and the staff to be very friendly.

Super clean! I am very impressed how clean this dinner is. Service is so good and food is good! A must try in Watertown! Best dinner! The decorations. Is amazing too.
