I can't comment on the food since we didn't stay long. We entered with our dog, and while smoking is allowed, the environment was unfriendly for our pet, so we decided to leave, which was no big deal. We sat outside waiting for service, but after about 10 minutes, I went to check if they offered table service, and they did not. My husband eventually brought out the menus himself. I ordered a cheese steak along with either a Corona Lite or Stella, but my husband was informed that they didn't have several items listed on the menu, with one choice being a "molten ice" (which sounded unappealing). He asked for a Corona but was told they didn't have it either, so he opted for a Stella after disco...
Bartender (2 women) are rude and evil. Whether they are slow or busy, these two have a speed. SLOW And if you finally get your order, they literally complain about the tip they receive. Friend before me typed 20% and when he left, they complained about the tip. Later, when another friend ordered a **** Mary, she said it was the only one she got because “they are too hard to make” which was ironic because it tasted evil. They have good bands there and I like to feel the diver, but they need new employees who know how to run a bar and appreciate people who come to spend their money in their facility.
Rude .... Kitchen is not open on Thursday 's or any day after 3:00pm ?! Who knew ?! No sign anywhere with That tidbit of information .... Oh, and just a heads up .... The waitress does not answer to ...Hey..... or anything else for that matter (technically, she does because she immediately turned to me to tell me how she does not answer to "Hey ! .... Shorty 's advertises Lobster Rolls and Clam Chowder, we really wanted to try it.... I guess we will just find it somewhere else ... or make our own. Thank 's for Nothing, Shorty...No Ambiance...
The staff were rude, and the wait times were excessive, especially with Mr. Shorty being quite unhelpful. As residents of Punta Gorda, I will never return to this establishment, as they act like they own the place. They may cater to the snowbirds, but locals have much better options for their hard-earned money. Réservez une table maintenant
What an amazing place! Kim, who works behind the bar, is fantastic! We initially thought it was just a quick stop for a beer, but the experience was so much more. I tried the Fort Myers and the lobster roll, and both were absolutely awesome! We will definitely come back when we're in the area!
