Nice atmosphere. Nice drinks, lovely food. live music Update.... Visited for dinner yesterday , covid procedures fully in place. Staff welcoming and professional during these testing times. Went out tocelebrate my 40th Freshly prepared food, my meal was swapped without hesitation as i found it too oily. Fabulous zombie cocktail! Hope to stay longer once the 10pm curfew is lifted. Edit!! Yet again absolutely wonderful service,and food. I didn't take any photos as we were having such a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary. the shrewsbury arms is always a joy to visit. the staff is as friendly and welcoming as eating is generous and delicious. the pub has always a warm, cozy atmosphere and very important for us dog friendly! without hesitation recommended.

This is a fantastic pub that hosts beer festivals and also offers a traditional bowls alley that can be rented. They serve real ale and food, making it definitely worth a visit.

Celebrated seeing in the New Year here, first visit and we were all impressed. Great atmosphere, the staff were excellent and the food was delightful.
