Shrimp Shack - Réservation de table

Prices do not match online prices. They are vastly more expensive and for the cost I would have expected some Fresh food not refried frozen food. I ordered the walleye and it was refried frozen food and it was $11.50 per Half pound. They’re split over price for refried frozen food. They took the frozen fish and threw it in a fryer for a crispy crust which was over fried. I will never go there again. Sad that they overhyped themselves. The fried okra was good but it was almost $10 a pound. I think they are price gouging us. Why don’t they update their online prices? The food was underwhelming. I was disappointed by the prices and ultimately chose not to eat there, especially given the evident dedication of the employees. I could see that they took great pride in the food they were preparing, which made it difficult for me to give Shrimp Shack a five-star rating; that would feel unfair, particularly if the employees were to leave in search of better opportunities for their growth and development. If that were to happen, the quality of the food would likely decline significantly.

Just had a Shrimp Shack lunch, and was not disappointed. The shrimp (1/2 pound was plenty for one hungry person) were breaded rather heavily, but the breading was tasty. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the cocktail sauce matched it excellently. The cook/waiter/only person there was more than pleasant. Can't wait to try more of the menu of this place!

The food was Excellent!! Restaurants in Minnesota need to take notes, lol The shrimp ? are HUGE! Too bad I ate them before snapping a pic. I was greeted with a smile. The place was nice and clean. Will definitely be returning to try more menu items. Réservez une table maintenant

This place is scammy as can be! Charged for things I did not order. The employees are rude and belligerent too. There are plenty of seafood spots in the city, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. They gonna rip you off.

Great fried fish haven!!! Clean and fast service best shrimp and chicken on the entire westside.Flying in or out of Midway? Allow yourself some extra time to grab a meal at Shrimp Shack.

Excellent breaded shrimp. I always kick myself for not getting a pound when I order a half pound. The service is always good and orders are filled fast. Réservez une table maintenant

The lake perch and clam strips were excellent. Cooked perfectly. This was my first time here, but I will definitely be back!

The service was quick and friendly, and the food was fantastic. We really enjoyed the Cajun Jumbo Shrimp!
