THIS IS A DANGEROUS PLACE. A security guard of shrine/silvana approached me 3 times, demanding that I “take him home.” When I refused, he became furious, packing my things, yelling at me, and assaulted me. Patrons around me luckily stepped in to protect me and got him away. The owners refused to watch the footage of the harassment/assault or take any action. This security guard is there most nights, often drunk. I’ve seen him be violent towards others as well… seems the owners are well aware and genuinely do not care about the safety of their patrons. I frequently went to shrine to draw/paint before I realized how dangerous it is. I love the music, but they don’t pay or respect the performer...
The 2 new bartender ladies have nasty attitudes and it really messes up the entire vibe. I didn’t even want either of them pouring my drinks after experiencing their bad energy but there was no other bartenders. How y’all behind the bar giving ATTITUDE to paying customers ? Weird. They definitely need to be trained better!.. I’ve never had an issue when the guys are serving, which is why they get tipped every time! I’ve been here multiple times! Shrine is always usually a great vibe. Please speak to your bartenders teach them respect for the customer! Woman customers too not just the men they pray to get a tip from! Thank you!
If you're looking for live music, Shrine is definitely a place to visit. With several different sets throughout the night, you can hear a variety of music. The bar area is spacious enough and the performance area is cozy. Boom boxes, records, album covers and others decorate the interior, mixed in with African statues and masks. Everyone was friendly, staff and patrons and I had a great first visit there.
The owner of this restaurant is incredibly rude and disrespectful. The service and drinks were both terrible. I will never return to this place again. Save your money and find somewhere better to eat.

A fairly typical club with gargantuan plates to eat. If you're in the area, check the concert schedule on their online site. Quite uneven, you can come across small ones. Have a good evening ahead
Great music everyday is different and you meet a lot of great people from all over the world. Oh yeah great food
Cozy spot. We came here to see our friends performing. Lots of seating and the bartender was very nice
