This restaurant is amazing. I always search for local spots, and this place fit the bill in every way. It was cozy, fun, and authentic. My companion and I shared a delicious crab cake and I had the blackened grouper, which was fantastic. My companion couldn't stop talking about how delicious the shrimp tacos were. The bartender, who happened to be the owner's daughter, was friendly and chatty. The bar started to fill up with locals for Friday happy hour, creating a lively and local atmosphere that was enjoyable to experience.
Some of the best food around. And great service. Our waitress was friendly, attentive (but not in a hovering annoying she kept good pace and good conversation but gave us our space), and fun...something you don't find anymore in service industry. The fish tacos were amazing, the raw oysters were cold and fresh, the steak was cooked perfectly (better than the expensive chains), and scallops were cooked just right. The broccoli may be the best I have ever had. We will return every time we are in town
We had an amazing experience at Shuckers Raw. Following a local’s recommendation, we tried this spot instead of our usual Binimins. The steamed pot oysters were exceptional. The restaurant truly met our expectations with its unique atmosphere and touch of historical charm. We confidently give it five stars.
Went for happy hour on a Thursday. They have a patio if you prefer outdoor seating. Great prices on delicious shrimp and oysters. Reasonable beer prices also. The service was friendly, busy but slow. It did get very busy in 20-30 minutes which attributed to the slow service.

The Fried Grouper Basket at this restaurant was fantastic. The food is top quality, and we always enjoy dining here when in Myrtle Beach.
I had the blackened grouper and scallops, and they were absolutely amazing. The beer was an added bonus, ice cold and refreshing.
It's a bar. Definitely not a place for people who have a gluten allergy. The waitress was super friendly.

It's a clean bar that serves food, what's not to like. Some gluten free options would have been nice.
