We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant last night with great service for our group of 16. We were there for a family birthday celebration and tried a variety of dishes including steak fondues, mixed grills, rib eyes, and chick n mix platters, as well as burgers for the kids. Despite running out of chicken bites, the staff informed us beforehand and we had no trouble finding alternatives on the menu. The rib eye steak was especially delicious, the best I've had in a long time! We returned the next night to see if the food was consistently great, and we were not disappointed. The service was fast and attentive, and it was nice to see that the restaurant has become more family-friendly...
Waited for ages at the bar to be served. Had to stop a barmaid to ask her if we could order drinks. She clearly objected to us asking her and disappeared into the kitchen. Eventually returned and we ordered our drinks which she got wrong (I wanted a half of lager she gave me a pint) when I asked her to change my drink she huffed and poured half of the pint into a half pint glass. When she took my money she charged for the pint not the half!! She clearly is the wrong person in the wrong job. No smiles … no welcome … customers were obviously an interference for whatever she was doing … absolutely no chance of me ever going to this pub again, and I recommend others don’t either!!
After waiting 45 mins for Sunday lunches and meals for under 2s, the meals were appalling. The beef was actually just slices of fat and the mash looked like it had been standing under a hot plate and quite frankly tasted like smash. Nothing was freshly cooked at all. Definitely wouldn't recommend and, definitely won't be going back. I did wonder why it was so quiet on a Sunday lunch time. Very over priced for the quality of food been offered
Had a lovely afternoon/ evening at the shuttle. We went for a family birthday meal and even though there was 16 of us (including 2 x 1 year olds), nothing was too much trouble. The food was great. We'll definitely be returning soon. Thank you to all the staff, you were amazing even those not on shift but still helped out because you were busy

My husband and I visited the shuttle and loom on a Tuesday teatime, the atmosphere was pleasant, we were served by Jane, Harriet and chef john, the service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming and the meals were very tasty and served hot, I would definitely recommend a visit
Stopped here for lunch with my girlfriend after a busy morning sofa shopping. Lovely dinner as always such a wide variety on the menu and staff great. We were served by jane who was brilliant and was always there for us even though she looked rushed off her feet. Will return.
Another fantastic visit to this restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent, especially from Catherine. We enjoyed great conversation over drinks and ended up staying longer than we had intended. I would like to give a special shoutout to Tina.
Disabled toilet door lock does not work so you must sit there door open for all to see. Bits of food found everywhere on carpets. Tables very greasy with particles of food all over. Upon leaving this place I said once is enough never again.

My friends and I frequently visit The Shuttle and Loom, where the staff always greet us warmly. We typically opt for the 2 for £10.50 meal deal, which offers great value for money. The food is consistently delicious.
The full building stunk of BO and grease. The food was absolutely disgusting. I have not been well since I have eating this monstrosity of idea of nice food. #GREASEYHOLE
