Menu: great. Food: terrific. Wine: awesome. Service: “Where’s my waiter?” The good: The food was great; we really enjoyed the bread, spicy tomato sauce, artichoke appetizer, two glasses of Sangiovese, some ravioli, and dessert highly recommend the tiramisu; beware it’s enough for two. I’d consider coming back for the food. The bad: Can’t get out the door for under $100. Not the best value, but other places in SD (ahem, downtown) will cost nearly twice as much. Better value, but still pricey. The ugly: Waiter disappeared several times for more than 20 30 minutes. Someone else came around to ask if we needed anything and had to explain we wanted dessert; we weren’t just sitting around just to take up a table. Speedy with the check after dessert, though, of course. We literally had three other couples come and go at the two top next to us in another section. Can’t explain it.
