Siena's Sister - Réservation de table

Siena's Sister is a popular institution in both Leederville and Mount Lawley. The visiting Italian Waiters who serve/ have served in the Mount Lawley restaurant are fabulous and it is so nice to get European service for such staple Italian fare in Perth. On weekends, and many evenings they are very busy-and the restaurant has a geat vibe. The day I went to the Leederville restaurant for lunch (a few weeks ago) I found the female waiters' nowhere near as prompt, personable or professional. Their service was slow, and while waiting to order we saw one waitress collect the menus from every table and make no attempt to even look our way. Doing backwards dinner and here for mains so good we stayed for two courses. The atmosphere on a cold wet night was rocking a big crowd having a great time. WE were seated within a couple of minutes of arriving and the staff appeared happy, helpful and fun. The lasangna with braised beef ragu was melt in the mouth food. We all had a different dish and swapped small portions around. Everyone was just great and wished could have had several main dishes. Wait staff were helpful with ideas and portions were larger side. The layout has changed and now just all one restaurant. Wine went down a trat and price was good for the amount of and quality of the food we were served. Will be back again soon...

NOT a review but an update. Was in the area this afternoon, planning to meet Ms FFD/FFT [fave fellow diner/traveller] and we planned to use Siena's Sister as a landmark--there is a kind of piazza or plaza across the road from it.'Meet across road Siena's Sis' said the first text. Next text: Oops, Siena's Sis no more! Got there and had to see for myself; space is there but new name, eating place. F Y IWill *miss* our Fri dinners here, will miss the generous serves and enthusiastic staff.

Siena's Sister is a casual Italian restaurant with a great menu. The staff are friendly and service is good.The meals are very generous. Pasta dishes could feed 2 people depending on how hungry you are. The food is full of flavour and has been consistent each time we dine there. A favourite that we keep coming back to. Good value pricing and great specials Monday - Wednesday. Réservez une table maintenant

This is my local Italian, and most favourite place to eat pasta. I have visited and ordered take away many times and I am never disappointed, the food is delicious. The 'parpadelle ragu' is TO DIE FOR. I crave it all the time.Fantastic casual restaurant with delicious food and generous portions. Wonderful mid week specials as well.

When visiting my friend who lives near the restaurant she always takes me there. Staff are friendly and always a good atmosphere. Obviously we are there for the food, and wine of course, which is always very good and plentiful.

Located at the site of the old Siena's in Highgate, Siena's Sister has had a complete refurbishment and the decor has a casual, light and fun feel about it.

I ended up eating here Sunday night, after reaching the decision that cooking was absolutely out of the question.

I think this place may have closed down which is Good as it was dreadful. Expensive average food at best.
