We went there Friday July 28 for early dinner, as we had heard how good their fish and chips were. It was not busy due to the time of day. As soon as we walked in the woman at the counter said hello. We went out to the front part which overlooks a nice lawn and the lake. We had the fish and chips which came with a small coleslaw. They have daily specials, which was fish and chips on Friday. The service was good and the waitress Maria was pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed having a meal there. They have a good menus of many choices also and are licensed also.
We tried to reserve some tables for a large group to have dinner. However we were told that they wouldn't do it due to the fact that some of the regulars have preferred seating. What could have been a great deal of business just went down the tube due to their willingness to accommodate. Don't worry we found another place to hold our monthly meetings.
We waited an hour for the food to arrive. Both hamburgers we over cooked, the sauted mushrooms on one were actually not cooked at all. The pan fried fish was so dry and tough it was inedible. The batter fried fish was good but that is one dish out of four. Not interested in going back again.
