Silversmith Brewing Company is a craft brewery that opened in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada in July 2012. It was founded by friends Chris Pontsieon and Matt Swan. While on a rock climbing trip just outside of Las Vegas in 2005, the two walked into a Wholefoods to purchase some groceries and they discovered a huge selection of craft beer. They loaded up their cart with various Stouts, IPAs, Bitters, Porters, and Pilsners and soon they were obsessed with all things related to craft beer. By 2011 the friends were living in Niagara-on-the-Lake (known for its huge selection of wineries), but they realized that there wasn 't a single brewery in town. They soon decided to open their own brew...

This was by far the best brewery experience I've ever had! Our bartender, Jeff, was fantastic! He engaged with us throughout our meal, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious. We tried the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was bursting with flavor; the chicken had a fantastic crispy breading while remaining juicy on the inside. My boyfriend ordered the cheesesteak sandwich, which had incredible flavor and very tender meat! The atmosphere is unique, as the brewery is located in an old church, which adds a special touch. I highly recommend visiting if you enjoy great beer, delicious food, and outstanding service!

A cozy brewpub in the Niagara area. The regions famous for its wines but the brew making can't be overlooked either. This brew stop is in an old church with the interior largely intact complete with wood finishings and stained glass. Ample seating available with both bench tables and the bar. The beers are well done, clean and cover most classic styles. The black lager especially crisp and toasty on a winter afternoon. The wheat ale balanced and inoffensive with just a bit of banana and clove. A kitchen in the back serves up hearty sandwiches. Attentive service from really friendly staff.

We came here for lunch in the middle of my birthday wine tour and it was so cool here! The brewery is in an old church which gives it such a rustic vibe. Our server was super friendly. The food itself was delicious! I got a burger with a side of poutine and it was amazing. I'm not normally a burger person, but this one was great. My fiance liked the beer so much that he got a couple of cans to go. Such a nice spot!

The vibe of this place is awesome. A beautiful converted church with a lovely patio. The patio tables all have umbrellas for rain of sun cover. Their Black lager burger is unreal! 100% is a must to get. The beers are great as well! Lots of different unique flavours and all are great to try out. We ended up getting a few beers to go from them! One growler and a few cans to enjoy at home.

Great location and the building itself is great. We had the avocado sandwich and cole slaw and everything was very fresh and good. Service was on point and prices are really reasonable. Animals are accepted outside. Their craft beers all have their distinct taste unlike other micro brewery where you feel all lagers are the same for example. Definately recommend !

A must-visit in the Niagara area! The Black Camp offers a unique and delicious dining experience. The food is incredibly tasty, though it can be a bit messy. I highly recommend the burgers and roasted chicken. However, I found the poutine to be less impressive and not worth the extra cost. Nonetheless, it's definitely worth a visit!

Awesome little spot. The only improvement I could make is I wish I could pick it up and move it to where I live. Great good, good beer, and awesome staff. Highly recommend.

Really cool venue in a converted old church with delicious food and solid craft beers. Great stop after a day biking around the Niagara-on-the-Lake region.
