Simla - Réservation de table

came as a party of three. I ordered the lamb balti and simple rice plus the keema naan and the usual poppadum. I found that naanbrot to be quite poor, as it was only little in the nabe, but lamme and rice. were good enough and the sauce was good. cobra warehouse was the beer of choice. service was good and the older men (the owner was perhaps very friendly and full of sweat for his customers. the decor was much more modern than the usual Indian restaurant that works well here. I would come back here, yes, but I would also try to see the competition at my next visit in the opposite first though.

stops in oswestry for a night during the walk of the offas dyke path. some friends joined us for the day walk and stayed for the evening cure as a decision last minute. we called to change the booking and not a problem (despite the...restaurant is very busy when we arrived). nine of us together with the drinks and meals come quickly, still a relaxed evening! good standard food and beautiful varied dishes. a well established restaurant and the owner have been in business for over years.

I think the experience in my own house could be a little better than the take-away experience. the meat, regardless of what they choose, is always overcooked, dry and chewing, but the sauces are beautiful and authentic. the broth nuts are dry, peasant and tasteless, the herbal side dishes are never very good. in comparison to restaurants in shrewsbury I would give it one, but in oswestry they are probably the best that is regrettable.

I had an amazing meal at the Simla in Oswestry last night. Due to some complicated dietary restrictions, I did not believe I would be able to eat at an Indian restaurant. To my surprise I was served a delicious meal which was bursting with...flavour. The service from George and his team was absolutely exceptional. really disappointed. try to say restaurant, but the “contact us” line was busy all the time. so they don't feel an option but check it here. very oily food and it was lukewarm when we got it (we are only miles away the huh chili tikka...masala tasted ingenious but the huhn tikka masala was a pool of oil.! and hardly warm. the same with the naanbroten. they expect more

Absolutely fantastic meal. Good service, lovely staff and good value for money. Recently refurbished restaurant. Looking very well presented. Lovely chatty staff ready to help and suggest different curry’s etc. All catered for. Also an English menu. I have been going to the Simla restaurant...for many years. Thank you George and staff for a lovely meal.

Recommended by of the staff from the hotel we were staying in, the Simla did not disappoint and was an excellent experience, the staff were cheerful and attentive, the food was fresh and beautifully cooked. We will definitely visit again if we are in...Oswestry.

First restaurant meal in months and months and months and it was lovely. Fresh, piping hot food. Quite meaty, but enough choice for veggies. Very reasonably priced. Charming welcome from Mr Miah and his staff. Next time in Oswestry we'll be heading back. Réservez une table maintenant

This has become our favourite restaurant. Food is amazing- staff are friendly and always welcoming. Track and trace and sanitation station in n place. Wishing the Simla the very best for Brian

Fabulous delivery made by George himself. Fabulous meal for two for my birthday. All as good as an eat in meal. His chef and family go the extra mile. Really good food
