Wedding venue advice for those considering Simmer!!! I strongly recommend NOT booking this venue. If I had to sum up my experience with Simmer on the Bay it would be the three following statements: 1. Awful customer service 2. Poor value for money 3. Good quality food I hope this review is helpful for Bride’s who are on the hunt for the perfect venue and I hope it might make Simmer lift their game. Whilst they may run many functions every year they certainly do not treat every customer with respect. Unfortunately as soon as Simmer had my deposit the customer service I received was dreadful. Si je devrais résumer mes expériences avec Simmer sur la baie, les trois déclarations suivantes seraient: Douleur 1. Terrible service client Douleur 2. Mauvais rapport qualité prix Douleur 3. Foods de bonne qualité Douleur J'espère que cet avis est utile pour la mariée, qui chassait pour l'endroit idéal et j'espère que cela pourrait lever son jeu. Je me suis donc tourné vers le festival des écrivains de Sydney, que Naive s'attend à aller directement dans une réunion - donc pas le cas. L'endroit était absolument avec l'armée grise, pour la journée et prête à la file d'attente. J'ai frappé une retraite prématurée pour laisser mijoter où j'ai trouvé une chaise longue et samette et mon livre lu pendant quelques heures de long, ah chance. Pas grand chose à dire sur le tarif du café - le café et le muffin étaient la qualité de l'école-Tuck-shop (ou peut-être les boutiques injustes pour Tuck Shops), donc absolument aucune cible de Foodie. So I turned up to Sydney Writers' Festival naively expecting to walk straight into a session SO not the case. The place was absolutely thronging with the grey army, out for the day and ready to queue. I beat a hasty retreat to Simmer, where I found a deckchair and sat and read my book for a couple of hours, ah bliss. Not a lot to say about the cafe fare the coffee and muffin were school tuck shop quality (or maybe that's unfair to tuck shops) so definitely not a foodie destination. Gère un déjeuner rapide dans le café Simmer pour le festival des écrivains de Sydney. Ils avaient Frittata quotidiennement et une sélection d'environ 4 sandwichs. J'ai choisi le poulet avec du citron mayo, des pinnuts et des groseilles. Je ne m'attendais pas à ce que beaucoup d'entre eux soient honnêtes, en considération de la foule et de l'occasion, mais le sandwich était réellement décent. Pas de changements de vie, mais j'ai apprécié la combinaison de saveurs, les pinnuts et les cassans étaient un complément intéressant.
Grabbed a quick lunch at Simmer Cafe for the Sydney Writers Festival. They had a daily frittata and a choice of about sandwiches. I chose the chicken with lemon mayo, pinenuts and currants. I didn't expect much from it to be honest, considering the crowds and occasion but the sandwich was actually decent. Not life changing but I enjoyed the combination of flavours, the pinenuts and currants were an interesting addition.
