Yes, they are open and I am so glad they are back. They just moved to the Paddock Hills Plaza Shopping Center, by the big post office on Lindbergh! I finally got back to them earlier this week, and, as always, the food is fantastic. The new place looks great, and everything was clean and bright. I don’t know the proper name for what I had, but it was glass noodles with vegetables and chicken, and it was not spicy, which is just how I wanted it. It was great. My friend had the red curry with beef, which came out beautifully plated, and he said it was really spicy and really good. The vegetables in both dishes were crispy, but not overly crispy, and the meats were tender. Everything was super fresh! Oh, I also got the Thai iced tea, which is always excellent.
The food at this place is delicious. New location, same delicious dishes. On my last visit I ordered the Stir Fried Garlic with beef, level 4 spice. This has been one of my favorite dishes for years. They don’t have any delivery options (that I know of), so I have to make the trip to pickup or dine in, but it’s worth the trip. The food can be ordered with published spice levels from level 0-5, with level 0 No Spice, and 5 Very Hot Spice. They also have a unpublished list that allows for spicier dishes. For example, level 10 spice can be ordered for someone who is more adventurous.
When we moved here 2 years ago and found this place it was great. But it has really gone down hill this year. The last 2 times the pad thai has had a burnt taste to it. The food itself wasnt burnt it just tasted like something had been burned in a pan prior to cooking and they just scraped it out and kept using the pan with burnt food on the bottom of it. This time I actually had some really hard black flecks in my pad thai. Guess its time to find another thai place.
