I'd been coming to Chinatown for years to buy bakkwa (moist, Asian, beef jerky) from the friday night market, believing it to be the only place in Sydney I could buy it. I was surprised to find this small, take-away shop selling an array of meat floss, jerky and more. They have apparently been there 20yrs!!! You can buy ready-cooked bakkwa for $4.50 p/slice, or par-cooked by the kilo and you can BBQ at home. If you love the sweet/salty flavour of this meat, they have several flavours to choose from. Definately worth a visit when in Chinatown.

I came to Chinatown for years to buy bakkwa (moist, asian, Rind-Jerky) from the Friday night market, believed to be the only place in sydney I could buy. I was surprised to find this small, moving business that sells a series of...fine meat, jerk and more. Apparently they were there 20 years! they can buy ready cooked bakkwa for $4.50 p/slice, or par-cooked by the kilo and they can bbq at home. if they love the sweet/salted taste of this meat, they have several flavors to choose from. a visit to chinatown is worth definitiw.

thin slice Chinese style jerk originally eaten for fujian, china and very famous in singapur, and in the rule during the Chinese Mew year. this bakkwa or process bbq pork that brings back the memory of my child, when my mother feeds me with this sweet, salty and hauch of charcoal aroma. they can get this beautiful delicacies for $4.80/100 gramm or they can get as many slices / pieces as they want and they will weight it on scale.

they are pressed hard to find another shop selling 'bak kwa' or Chinese style meat jerk in sydney. running from a team of a nabe n woman, make her a middle bac kwa. as good as it gets in sydney, but not as good as the ones she gets in sporenjak or Malaysia. they also sell different tidbits, worth a visit.

I didn't have this grilled meat since I was a kid. filz nolstalgic and decided to grab two pieces. I have a pig and bark. I preferred texture of bark, but partner preferred pig. both soft and very little difference really. it's a little sweet. a nice little snack on the go. as good as I remembered her.

If you like Din Sum and you're in Sydney, you'll probably come across Din Tai FungIt's in a good location and the indoor/outdoor space is nice.

the jerk is beautiful, but still feels like he's missing something. I had them already in hk/macau and singapur. I can point out what it is. Réservez une table maintenant

This was a fun experience, if maybe a little over hypedThe restaurant is very large inside, and has almost as many outside tables as inside.
