They do have specific opening and closing hours (they close at 4 PM) because they prioritize freshness, so make sure to stop by while the rice cakes are still warm! The interior is quite simple, as it mainly serves as a catering and takeout spot. However, they also offer beautifully packaged traditional rice cakes that are perfect for gifts and special occasions. It’s definitely worth a visit—my personal favorite is the sool dduk, you can quote me on that!
I have always enjoy their rice cakes for years. They are always not too sweet (magic words), perfectly chewy, and traditional. I always enjoy their selections though sometimes if you go too late, their popular ones or my favorites are sold out. Nevertheless, this shop knows what they are doing. I never expected to find such a authentic Korean rice cake place. I tried the fermented rice cake, the pumpkin rice cake, and the red bean rice cake. All of them are just wonderful, the same as or even better than what I had in Korea. And they are very nice people! I will definitely revisit and try all different kinds of rice cakes they have!

The rice cakes here are moist and delicious. Yedang is on the sweet side, this place is perfect. Try their pumpkin rice cake and rainbow rice cakes!
