Sit Nee Thai is a fantastic hidden gem in the inner west! The restaurant is very clean and the staff are attentive to maintaining appropriate distance and Covid safety measures. The salt and pepper squid and mixed entree we ordered were generously sized and served piping hot. For our main courses, the Ginger and Spring Onion seafood was delicious, the Tom Yum Fried rice was a must-order, the garlic and pepper beef stir fry was tasty, the green chicken curry was saucy, and the Pad See Ew was excellent. Greeted at the door by friendly staff however had quite poor English and could not answer questions. I had the BBQ Chicken, expecting a meal however it was just some strips of marinated chicken (I do not think it was good quality meat either) with a tiny bland side salad. My boyfriend got the Garlic Thai Fried Rice with chicken and was a decent serving size however a bit bland as well.
For lunch on a weekday, we both enjoyed the chicken pad thai with a side of tasty roti. The owners were really friendly and enthusiastic. We wish them success in their new restaurant venture.
Sofie was so welcoming, nice, friendly and helpful. The food was really nice, wholesome and not too salty. NO MSG after taste for sure. We will be back. I highly recommended this restaurant.

Nice boutique thai restaurant in Balmain, staff were friendly and attentive. Tom yum goong soup and fried barramundi with chilli basil sauce were sublime. Definitely will go back.
Very nice staff members ensured they did everything to make our dinner comfortable. Food was good Noodles were amazing, Panang curry was creamy and delicious!
The discount only applies to main dishes, but everything else was top-notch. We highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food.
