Great evening out! The food at Sitara was delicious! We are visiting family in Ledbury and chose Sitara for our evening meal. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Pasanda, Chicken Curry with Cashews and Green Chillies, and Mushroom Bhaji. We all thought the food was outstanding but particularly enjoyed the flavorful Tikka Masala. The Mushroom Bhaji as a main course was new for us and very tasty. The restaurant has a nice ambience. Waiters are attentive and courteous. We intend to come back on our next visit from the USA!
Twice in the last week we have eaten at Sitara. Once was a take away. And once in the restaurant itself. The simple fact of saying we ate there twice in a week should be proof of the excellence of the food. But above and beyond the outstanding food, the welcome, the service, the warmth should also be seen as outstanding. We arrived as a group of 8, slightly late in the evening, but were welcomed, accommodated, and served to the highest standard. Please consider this review to be exceptional.
Supposed to be the best place to eat in Ledbury. Unfortunately I couldn’t get that far because of the rude staff. Went in at 17:30 for an early dinner and was told they had no staff and I should come back at 17:45. Returned at 18:00 and when I sat down I was told I couldn’t sit where I had sat down and they wanted to put me at the back of the restaurant even though it was empty. Looks like they have become snobs and don’t deserve any customers. Going off to the other Indian instead.
Our food was absolutely gorgeous we had been before and we’re looking forward to celebrating my husband’s 60 th birthday. The only negative would be the cold unfriendly service could be improved bordering being served by robots . I understand that they have a good reputation for the food and quite right too but shouldn’t get complacent as a smile and a friendly welcome goes along way .

Absolutely fabulous! The food at Sitara was exquisite! We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Pasanda, Chicken Curry with Cashews and Green Chillies, and Mushroom Bahji. This is the best tasting Indian food I've had in years! The service and value for money were also excellent and the ambiance pleasant. You will not be disappointed! We will be back on our next visit from the USA!
Another fantastic evening, The manager is a special man who deserves to do well, he goes above and beyond to make sure its lovely evening. We usually dine as a large family table and it’s not easy to please everyone- toddler, vegetarian, pescatarian and hard core carnivores, everyone leaves in agreement that the food is superb.
An absolute gem of a restaurant. Lovely staff who do all they can to ensure you enjoy your dining experience and are knowledgeable about the menu on offer. Plenty of dishes to choose from that can be spiced up or down to suit your taste. Always delicious. Good selection of drinks too.
Always know what you’re getting here, and always busy so book early to avoid disappointment, especially at weekends!! Highly recommend the lamb nehari, naans are great friendly service
