The problem with Sizzler, and these large corporate restaurants, they use a lot of processed food, GMO, big commercial farmed food. All raised in a way for mass quantities, and low prices. Food is much less healthy and lacks good flavor. I recently went for their TG day meal, and sure enough, highly processed turkey. Sliced Turkey shaped like spam. It lacked flavor, was dry, barely warm, and looked, and tasted highly processed. Everything else on the plate was similar. Service was mediocre. I was not offered any rolls or cheese toast. When we arrived the parking lot was full so we knew it was busy. It was Sunday around 4pm and the salad bar was completely empty. The staff was rude as of they were frustrated someone had called off that day. Tony was our server, he didn 't bring napkins to the table and was also overheard telling another guest he had to pay for more bread. When the guest questioned him about the policy he put a hand on his shoulder which to me meant be quiet you 're causing a scene once the salad bar was refilled, I had lost my appetite. My mom 's friend asked for a baked potato and was told she had to pay extra despite never being charged for it in the past. As a first time diner, this was a disappointment...
I haven’t been to sizzler since they closed in Alameda. I don’t remember it being this horrible. The chicken in the salad bar was undercooked. I had my Malibu chicken sent back twice and instead of refunding it or offering another dish the waitress asked someone else to cover our table. I highly doubt that anyone will eat ice cold mashed potatoes but what do I know… I wouldn’t go back to this particular location again. Even with terrible service, we decided to get wine and leave an orderly table.
We visited Sizzler for a business dinner to discuss details with Mississippi artist BandRunna'Gwaup. The restaurant was spotless, the service was outstanding, and the salad bar was delightful. All the food was fresh and incredibly flavorful. I also enjoyed a glass of wine before lunch, which added a nice touch to our meeting.

The food was just as delicious as I remembered! While the service could have been a bit more attentive, I understand they seemed a bit short-staffed. Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner and a lovely evening.
We had the Cilantro Lime Barramundi and the steak with Malibu chicken, and both dishes were excellent. We're tempted to add the salad and ice cream bar to our meal the next time we visit.
The food wasn't bad and the prices were very reasonable. What I like is the open salad bar. You can get everything here they even got ice cream, too.
During my visit to LA, I had the chance to dine at a great restaurant that was reasonably priced. I just wish there was one closer to me!

Other Sizzlers has better toast, Which a nice butter Garlic flavor. The toast at this one had a Cheese topping really did not like it.
It’s always a delight to dine at this location. The server, Tony, is fantastic!
