Ski Lodge Engelberg

We came in with no reservations and they said they can only serve us at the bar area (smaller menu) I had beef tartare and mushroom soup. Tartare was delicious and unique as had some grain and root veggies that provided nice texture contrast. However...it was a small dish. Soup was completely uneatable (so salty and bitter). Replacement soup had the same issue. Service was ok and they apologized and didn’t charge for the soup.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated it is well lit and has some comfortable music the food is wonderful and there are many different options one of them is a skier menu that is a course meal which gives you everything needed to get back...on the slopes the next day. The waiters are very friendly. In general I recommend without hesitation.

We loved this restaurant. We also stayed at this hotel and could equally recommend. The food was amazing, we had the vegetarian menu and it was lovely. Great atmosphere and staff was fantastic. We got some Swiss wine recommendations and loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed the culinary experience here. Very courteous and prompt service ,along with delicious food. A bit on the pricey side, but the experience make up for the price.

Incredible food, presented very well and beautiful fresh produce. This place is a must!!! Great staff as well.
