I am a repeat customer to Skimmerhorn Winery for several years because it's always been a lovely place to visit. When I have out of town guests, or a friend who have not been there, I love to take them. We have a wine tasting,...then sit on the cozy deck, with the beautiful view and share a bottle of our favorite wine with a meal; or, an appetizer, or, a dessert. The setting of this winery is absolutely beautiful. Though the weather did not permit us to sit on their beautiful patio, we had a lovely space indoors. Our family loved the food-to-share atmosphere, and enjoyed the delicious Gewuerztraminer. We ordered several dishes, and all were...very good, and presented in a timely manner (compliments to the incredible chef, Maria Aryan). Our server took good care of us, as well as the front end manager. Delicious wine, amazing food, a beautiful location and very friendly staff! I had a friend visiting from out of town so decided to try dinner at the winery. We did not have a reservation but lucked out and got a seat on the patio complete...with stunning mountain and valley views. The server was very patient with us as we had a difficult time deciding on the menu as there were so many tempting options. Our food was so amazing. I can't wait to go back. The wine is always good.
Having been here twice now, we absolutely love coming to this winery. The ladies are very friendly and knowledgeable. We love the whites, desserts and frozen wines. Not red wine drinkers however do have family who will enjoy these so purchased one of each. It is a small winery that is gaining popularity and they ship to Alberta now which is a bonus for us.
Had a wonderful Monday brunch on the patio at Skimmerhorn Winery Bistro . It was slightly chilly so April the server brought us out a blanket each, just in case we got cold . All I can say the quaility of the food was perfect....Local ingredients , a variety of choices and so delicious.
Oh my gosh, don’t ever pass up having tapas at this vineyard!! The selection of food is diverse and SO well prepared and SO tasty! Sit outside on the deck if the weather permits or eat inside. The service is top notch and the food...is high quality! A Must Stop Enjoy for sure!!
