We have been here for drinks one evening. Following weekend we made a bruch reservation in November weekend. Although it looks small from outside this place is huge with different sections in it. Waiters told me that the 3rd floor is only open aroundsummer. There is a different menu and also a dress code to dine there. When we stop by in the evening it was hard to make anorder. It was pretty crowded in the terrace. But..this place has a real fire place. My favorite time was brunch. The history onthe walls worth to take walk. Ataff is experienced and professional. Food was amazing. My food Egg homard cofffe service drink and desert is $30. We'll be back.
If you don 't like hair in your food, there is nothing for you here. The manger was super kind to take this item with extra ingredients off the bill. However, I was charged for the substitute. Peter , who introduced himself as a manager of the placeneeds to learn on his manners and fixed his breath. It 's disgusting to have a hair in your food but more disgusting to deal withsuch horrible management. Hopefully, the health department will take care of this place Don 't want to post hair soup butappreciate that oysters were fresh and without extra stuff. Please, choose another place for oysters just to stay safe
The food was just average, not impressive. The cold crab salad was a pleasant way to begin, but the main course fell flat. I ordered the steak, which was overly seasoned with pepper and smothered in a dark sauce that tasted like a light barbecue. This seemed more like a method I’d use for a bargain steak bought on sale. Additionally, the steak was cut into quarters and lacked moisture. Overall, the meal didn’t meet my expectations, and it felt like we were mainly paying for the view.
We walked in 15 minutes after opening and it was already quite busy! Atmosphere is great and service was good and effecient. Food was excellent, wonderful fresh oysters with delicious condiments. Calamari was very good too would have preferred tartarsauce (not available) over the tomato based one they served it with but it was fine. Fried capers were a wonderful addition! I'drecommend this place and definitely would go back. Also dog friendly

We hosted the Sunday brunch after our wedding at the Landing and it was great! For starters the upstairs room was beautiful and the view of the water and boats is amazing. The food was better than we could have imagined and the team was so easy to workwith! They were communicative and answered all our emails super quickly. We would highly recommend the Landing if you're lookingto host an event!
The atmosphere of the restaurant is truly unique, featuring stunning views in a romantic ambiance. The food was expertly prepared, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend it and eagerly anticipate my next visit.
Impeccable service. Pleasant atmosphere. Slightly better than average food quality. If you're a foodie, there are much better choices on the wharf and in the Newport area.
The restaurant was not full, and we waited an hour+ for our entrees, no appetizers. Like another formerly top tier Newport restaurant, they have slipped.

Excellent chowder, probably the best I have ever had. Lots of clams. Good bartender. Nice views. There was a band playing.
