Skylight Cafe - Réserver une table

I am beginning to believe that a review reflects both a personal experience and the business itself. My visit to this café for coffee and cake on a Saturday afternoon may not accurately represent the café's atmosphere on a busy weekday, but here is my experience. The café, located under a skylight at the Sefton Plaza shopping complex, is quite open to passersby and has seating for around 40 customers. It seems to be open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. We ordered coffee and cake, however, there was not much of a variety in the cake selection at that time of day. This may warrant a 3-star rating, but the Custard Tart my wife had was fresh and enjoyable, and I was delighted to try a piece of Albert Cake - a nostalgic reminder of old train rides in New Zealand! The coffee was served with a friendly smile, and it was exactly as ordered, which definitely earns an extra star in my book.

The food was delicious and the coffee was excellent. Everything was served quickly. We noticed that there were a lot of older customers in the restaurant, and the staff took great care of them, making sure they had everything they needed.
