To make matters worse, the coffee was lukewarm. When I asked if it could be microwaved, I was informed there wasn’t a microwave available. I then requested a fresh cup of coffee, only to be told the pot was empty, but I could have a cappuccino with boiling water added—what a strange offer! I politely declined and sat down with my friend to sip on my lukewarm coffee.
A few minutes later, I was startled when a server slammed two hot coffees onto our table without a word and quickly walked away. The customer service was shockingly bad and incredibly rude. I definitely won’t be returning!
The counter ordering process was efficient and simple. They accept credit cards, and they also offer canned coffee for takeout, as well as bags of coffee beans for purchase. There’s ample seating available on the lower level of the shop. Additionally, the shop is connected to Levitate, which features clothing, surf, and skate merchandise, making it easy to explore and browse their selection. Parking is available in a midsize paved lot that is shared with other businesses.
Slacktide is a fantastic part of the community! The staff and patrons are always friendly and welcoming. The coffee is consistently great, and the venue is always spotless! They offer unique doughnuts and special food items from time to time, which are a delightful surprise! The only thing I would like to see more of is a regular breakfast menu. I highly recommend it to both locals and visitors alike!
If you enjoy good, quality coffee and fresh food made to order, all for a reasonable price, you need to visit SlackTide. I will go out of my way for their coffee, nowhere else on the south shore compares. And the homemade buttermilk biscuits…. Insane. Do yourself a favor and check out SlackTide, you won’t regret it. Anyone leaving a negative review is a grumpy hater.

Set up in the center of Marshfield, tucked inside Levitate is a coffee shop with quite the name. Grateful to have found such a place in my hometown. Friendly staff, and a comfortable environment I ordered some gorgeous donuts and a delicious paninni. Extremely exquisite! Highly recommend checking this spot out next time you come through Marshfield.
Currently, my preferred weekend coffee spot! I like to order a Dirty Chai and either a cinnabon or a monthly special donut the donuts are amazing! The vibe reminds me of growing up in the Pacific Northwest <3

We love Slack Tide Coffee. Brazilian Roast is excellent. Donuts to die for. Southwestern Panini with fried egg was amazing. Although I was full I was craving another.
The staff is amazing and the egg sandwiches, coffee and donuts are also on point!
