My wife and I were in San Antonio City to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. Had the opportunity to eat in Slim Chickens once in the restaurant and again for a to-go order on our way out of town. It was for lunch both times. We've never been to Slim Chickens, but we were impressed. The chicken taste and sauce options are excellent. Both offers and sandwich were excellent. The frits in both cases were also excellent, with great seasoned salt seasoning. The service of the front desk (both the same young lady - I cannot remember her name, but she was hispanic and very well prepared service was friendly and efficient. In both cases the staff had our food fast and it was hot and well removed from the cooking oil. The tea (community! was very clear, strong and tasteful - a sure sign that a restaurant has its stuff together in our experience... The great thing is that a new one in Schertz is built here in the area of San Antonio, so it is great. Recommended and we're coming back!
Since this place is open, I didn't give him a second look. When someone took me there, I couldn't get enough. I must have about 20 to 30 of her cups in my house. I usually order the hungry meal, but sometimes I get a side salad with it. The honey grill is amazing. The Cayenne Ranch is also great with a salad. The offers are juicy and crisp. And when they drop a sauce, it's amazing. I would not recommend the garlic parmesan, it is a little salty. The spicy ones are amazing especially the buffalo and hot varieties.
It was AMAZING we ate there and the food was ok, but what really made the experience great was nothing but Tye! Tye is just an amazing person and he is really cold as a super gangster wilderness! I and the Bois invited him to our show and even to our after party, because he's just as amazing when someone has a problem with Tye, you're a very bad person and obviously have no father figure. Anyway highly recommend this restaurant 10/19 again for Tye!!!!
